The Access Party was successful in the executive races of the Spring 2004 Student Government Election, electing Jamal Sowell, Jennifer Puckett, and Dennis Ngin to Student Body President, Vice President, and Treasurer.

The Access Party is the first party to win campus-wide office without the endorsement of Florida Blue Key since the Action Party in 1992, twelve years earlier. They were also responsible for electing the first Asian American Student Body Treasurer in history and the first African American Student Body President since the 1980s.
