Broward Hall is best known to incoming freshmen because they spend the night here during Preview. Broward Hall consists of four floors of residents, each of which is divided into four sections. Every section within a floor is restricted to one gender. Communal bathrooms/showers are provided for every section. Air conditioning is provided by window units. Forced triples are not uncommon in Broward. Broward is served by the Broward Area Council which puts on programs and events for residents.

Because Broward is built into a hill, the south sections of the building have additional floors underneath the residential floors. These house the Tutoring Center. Broward is close to the Broward Dining Facility, Broward Beach, Rinker Hall, Rawlings Hall, the Architecture Building, and Garage IV.
