The CSE Lab is located on the ground level of the Computer Science and Engineering Building in room 211. CSE 211A Classroom is attached to the lab and can be reserved for classes. You must have a valid Gatorlink account to use the lab.

The lab offers:

  • 181 2.8 Ghz Intel Pendium D 820 based desktops each with a 17" CRT monitor, 80GB hard drive, DVD+/-R drive, 1GB RAM, and USB2 and IEEE1394 plugs.
  • 11 1Ghz G4 eMac desktops each with a 40GB hard drive, DVD-R drive, 1GB RAM, and USB2 and IEEE1394 plugs
  • 2 Canon 3200 Scanners
  • 7 Canon 1260 Scanners
  • 24 Canon 1240 Scanners
  • 2 Canon 4200F Scanners
  • 6 HP Black and White Laser Printers (Letter)
  • 1 Xerox Tektronix Phaser 7700 Color Laser Printer (Letter)
  • 2 HP 1055CM Color Wide-Format Plotters (up to 36"x108")
  • 10 Stations to plug in laptops and connect via ethernet to the UF network

Spring 2008 Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30am to 2:00am
  • Friday: 7:30am to 5:00pm
  • Saturday: Noon to 6:00pm
  • Sunday: Noon to 2:00am

[edit] Printing Fees

  • Black and White: $0.10/page
  • Color: $0.75/page
  • Wide-Format color: $1.00 per linear foot rounded up to next whole-foot (so an Arch A or Arch B if oriented properly would cost $1, an Arch C and properly oriented Arch D would be $2, and an Arch E or E1 would be $4)
