Freshman Leadership Cabinet
From Gatorpedia
The Freshman Leadership Programming Cabinet ensures that all freshmen are made aware of the opportunities available to them at the University of Florida. The Cabinet works to educate freshmen of what organizations they can get involved with and how to reach their greatest potential as leaders here at University of Florida. The primary focus of the Cabinet is the Freshman Leadership Council. The council gives highly motivated freshmen a chance to get involved immediately and contribute to some of the major decision making in Student Government. The members of the Freshman Leadership Council host sessions to get other freshmen involved, meet influential student leaders, and see what it takes to succeed academically, socially, and extra-curricularly. The program helps to develop personal leadership traits in new students and allow them to gain the know-how to become a successful, influential leader both at the university level and beyond. The Freshmen Leadership Council is the primary tool used to ensure that this Cabinet’s influence is felt throughout the entire freshmen class.
The Directors for the 2009-2010 school year is Melissa Milchman and Demetri Morgan.
The e-mail address for the Cabinet is flc@sg.ufl.edu.
