Independent (political party)

Independent refers to a political party or candidate that does not operate under the control or influence of The System or Florida Blue Key, instead actively opposing their control of Student Government. While the word "independent" sometimes is used to classify an individual as non-Greek, when use regarding political parties the term is not dependent on Greek or organizational affiliation.
