Student Body Statutes
From Gatorpedia
The Student Body Statutes are the laws, rules, and regulations passed by the Student Senate with the Student Body President's signature or initiated by the electorate which govern Student Government, student organizations, and the administration of A&S Fees. It is modeled after the United States Code in many respects. Passing a law to change any part of the Student Body Statutes requires either an affirmative majority at two readings in the Student Senate, as well as the signature of the Student Body President or a majority vote of the students via the initiative process. The Statutes are subordinate to the Constitution of the Student Body of the University of Florida.
